It's good to be back in the office again (the photograph on the right is the scene over the high street from one of our windows) after a busy couple of months, first at the Patchings event in Nottinghamshire, where we had a great time, meeting readers, seeing people enjoying The Artist and Leisure Painter exhibitions in the two galleries there, and then in July at Art in Action. It's interesting to see the comments on our Forum, from some of you who attended these events. 

Currently we are putting to press issue 5 of StartArt, which will appear on Painters-Online in early September, and working on our October issues of The Artist and Leisure Painter, which will include our special supplement on painting courses and holidays in the UK and overseas. If you're off on yours, do let us know about your experiences - why not send us a painted postcard, or share your experiences with other visitors on the Forum - we love to hear from you!
